Each correct answer awards your team a point, which is a total of 50 points for a flawless game.

But the fun doesn't end there. In fact, the NYC Trivia League adds an extra level of competition through its bonus point system. Each day, the top 25 teams receive additional points, with teams in the top 10 teams receiving 5 bonus points and the next 15 getting 3. Over the course of the week the top 50 teams also get bonus points Top 25 teams getting 10 and the bottom 25 receiving 5.

In order to calculate your overall league score, we take the base score and change it according to a scale of 100 points, including the bonus 15 points offered each week. For instance, a perfect baseline score of 50 points is multiplied by 85 and then the bonus points are added to reach a full 100.
